Koshish receives "Best Social Organization Award"

Koshish, a Nepalese mental health self-help NGO and associated organization of Fracarita International, received the "Best Social Organization Award" on 1st September 2017.

The award, sponsored by a Nepalese health magazine, was given to Koshish for its dedication and meaningful contribution to the mental health and psycho-social sector in the country. In 2013 the chairperson of the organization, Mr. Matrika Prasad Devkota, already won the international Dr. Guislain Award.

Koshish seeks to provide community-based mental health and psychosocial support and advocates for improved mental health care, related to laws and policies, including their implementation. Find out more on Koshish's website.
